Traditional Tudor

LONG ISLAND, NEW YORK

Project Narrative

Set against the water’s edge, this residence reinterprets Tudor tradition with bold rooflines, rich textures, and finely crafted details. Timber and stone ground the home in warmth, while expansive windows capture shifting light over the landscape. Inside, layered materials and intricate millwork create an atmosphere that is both time-honored and quietly modern. Designed with both permanence and livability in mind, this home balances old-world charm with a fresh perspective, offering a retreat that is as inviting as it is enduring.

Project Completed, 2004
